These monthly photo posts were originally intended to document progress at the house. However the past year has been, well, the past year and I’m enjoying keeping them as a more general “these are photos I’ve snapped this month in my adventures in life”. So there’ll still be a large chunk about the house and the land – but there will also be other little bits too. As there have already been. So, without further ado…
Starting in Cornwall, up via Morecambe and ending in Galloway:
Last swim of the year at Carrick I was sent a “Make Your Own Gingerbread House” kit – this is it made! I liked the surreal juxtposition of putting the gingerbread house inside my 1920s “triplex” range. Anyways, we did a photo shoot – even Jason got involved… Christmas bush, as inspired by my parents The head of a Babington’s leek, all the little bulbils reaching for their own independent livesl The bulbs and the promise of Spring always bring such joy to my heart I was involved in a Secret Santa – and these were my gift! Swimming was happening in Morecambe, even after coming back from Cornwall A ridiculous amount of ink. That also makes me ridiculously happy I was really pleased with this shot – mainly because it demonstrated the camera on my new phone *can* do low light shots. And rather nicely, too
