After several months of lockdown, August saw me getting back out into the world. Morecambe, even London – it was all go.
I’d been mowing. It started raining. I didn’t care. I flippin’ *love* mowing 🙂 Just caught my eye… I have a feeling this was a falafel+chips moment – great vantage point looking out over Trafalgar Square Amazing bubbles on the Southbank Just thought it looked really cool… I *think* this was Covent Garden – but wherever it is, what an amazing structure! The (Golden) Porcupine. I loved stumbling across this many moons ago – and still always associate it with the Porcupine story Absolutely beautiful poem outside the Royal Festival Hall Hampstead Heath – and I remember exactly who I was with. A friend I hadn’t seen in close to a decade. A truly wonderful reunion. Hampstead Heath again Garlic! Reading Lasses in Wigtown. YUM Borgue Flower Show wasn’t on (Covid) so they came up with a tub scheme to brighten things up – it was utterly wonderful! Volunteer! Not quite as photogenic as the ol’ Galloway land. But a growing spot all the same (in Morecambe) I had some radish seeds. I planted them. I don’t like radish so I didn’t pick them. They grew. A lot. And then went on the compost heap…
