I was lucky enough to snag around 25 rose bushes from someone in Lancaster who had moved into a home with quite a collection…but wanted some veg beds! I planted them up in a nursery bed and, notwithstanding some deer nibbling, they’re doing really well. With some STUNNING blooms (evidence shall be forthcoming in later months’ posts…)
February’s travels (ah! The days when travel was easy!) were focused around attending my mate, Adam’s, civil partnership in Bath. And precipitated the visit to Clevedon
When I went for a dip in Clevedon Marine Lake I had no idea this would be the start of *quite* so much cold water immersion. But it was – and huzzah for that! Sweep, who you may have spotted sitting with his new friend Jack Rabbit in the “travels” gallery, had an unexpected extended stay with jack but had his own Very Exciting Adventure travelling back to Morecambe in his own personal (sealed) “sleeping bag”. And just because the sky was gorgeous that evening…
